This event will be UNE’s first-ever Arts and Humanities Festival. Students are invited to celebrate the humanities with various clubs representing the CAS disciplines.
The school of Arts and Humanities is home to multiple subjects and studies including, but not limited to, Visual Arts, Education, Communication, and Writing. Some anticipated clubs include Art Club, Creative Writing Club, Zephyr, Arts and Humanities Club, and The Bolt.
Attendees can expect everything from free personalized poetry to face painting or henna artwork. Such activities will be based on the subject of each club. As an added bonus, a live performance will be given by UNE’s student organized band, Storm Surge.
The event will be this Wednesday in the Commons Atrium from 4-6 PM. Six different clubs will be co-sponsoring, and each will be running games and activities throughout the event.
