11:58 AM
As I approached Blue Bolt Field, I took a right while most fans headed left to the Blue Bolt stadium to catch the 12 PM home Football game.
12:00 PM – Game Begins
The whistle blew, and the game began. UNE and Endicott College came out strong, ready to give it their all.
12:15 PM – End of First Quarter
After a tense first quarter, the score was 0-0.
12:17 PM – Second Quarter Starts
The second quarter began, and the intensity ramped up. Players showcased their impressive skills, particularly #25, Abby Stevens, who exhibited remarkable finesse with the ball. She dogged defenders with agility, weaving through the opposing team with fancy footwork.
12:32 – Halftime
Score 0-0. Both teams switched sides, strategizing for the second half.
12:48 – 3rd Quarter
The game remained tied at 0-0 despite solid efforts from both teams. I became more engrossed in the game, particularly observing #6, Lily Clough, and #3, Makena Valentine, execute impressive plays. This was my first field hockey game, so hearing the wooden stick struck by the ball added to my excitement.
1:03 PM – 4th Quarter
Endicott scored the first goal of the game; only nine minutes remained.
1:18 PM – End of Game
Final score 0-1 Endicott College. Great game, ladies!
