“We were obviously coming in with momentum from winning the first three games. But all that goes out the window with a rivalry game like this. Today, unfortunately, we didn’t get the result that we wanted,” said Junior Defensemen Hamlett.
The game concluded with a game-winning goal from Endicott’s Kurapov, with an assist from Costanzo. UNE totaled 27 shots on goal and won 33 faceoffs, eight more than Endicott.
“I felt good going into today’s game. I felt our team was in a good spot this early in the year. So I’m just excited to keep going and get out there again tomorrow,” said Senior forward Anthony Sciucco. “We just have to pay attention to all our little details, like making sure we have good line changes and just playing the full 60.”
