Mackenzie Pettigrew is a student at the University of New England and currently studies Applied Exercise Science. She has two plans; fit prosthetics and teach patients how to use them, or become a surgeon.  She discovered early on that is is hard to stand out in a world this diverse, so she believes that if you can at least stand out and make a difference in someone’s life, follow the path that will let that happen.
