Student Spotlight: Perspective on the Student Forum

Q: Who are you and what is your opinion on the upcoming schedule change?

A: My name is Kyle Bshara, I’m a sophomore at UNE with a major in aquaculture. I personally am not the biggest fan of the schedule change.

Q: Did you feel like the Student Forum with President Herbert was effective in communicating the concerns of the student body with administration?

A: I felt like the student forum with President Herbert was effective in communicating the concerns of the student body. I feel like our thoughts were listened to by the administration, but I definitely think that another forum should be held.

Q: Have your feelings on the schedule change been impacted since the forum on Monday?

A: My feelings on the schedule change have not been impacted since the forum on Monday. Although I prefer my Fridays light, I do understand the other viewpoints on a free day in the middle of the week. I also do agree, on the other hand, that many peers of mine need to work and do internships on Fridays.
